Ron Merryman, Chief Executive Officer
Ron Merryman is CEO and owner of Crescendo Growth Advisors - CGA was formed to allow Ron to fulfill his desire to share his 30 years of professional experience and help others to produce better results while leading more fulfilling and balanced lives. His experience includes serving as Sr. Vice President of Finance and Operations for RS Medical and for Clarity Visual systems. He also held management positions with projection company InFocus and is a volunteer with the Oregon chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Merryman received his education at Lewis and Clark College. Merryman will be responsible for guiding REDpoint International's growth and development as it brings a portfolio of innovative medical products to the marketplace. Chuck Nokes, Founder and President
Chuck Nokes founded REDpoint International, Inc. in March of 2008. Prior to founding REDpoint International, Inc., Chuck was the CEO of NewTech International Inc., an automotive paint technologies company that he led to a successful sale. Prior to NewTech, Chuck was an assistant director of an international humanitarian organization, working primarily in the communist world. He co-founded and directed Romanian Mercy and Relief, which provided doctors, nurses and medical supplies for clinics and orphanages in Romania. Chuck studied Leadership and Management at the University of the Nations in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Finland and Austria and was in high demand as a public speaker on humanitarian issues internationally. In Dundee, Scotland, Chuck was a keynote speaker for the International Business Summit on Western and Asian Market Competition. He has conducted seminars internationally at the university level on management and leadership.
Valerie Vance Co-founder and VP Business Development
Prior to REDpoint, Valerie worked at the Portland International Airport as the Manager of Human Resources of a project in which she was responsible for transitioning 350 employees from their private screening contract to the federal government (TSA). During and after this assignment she had oversight of payroll, client contracts, contract compliance, and managed state and federal regulatory compliance. Previously, Valerie had a 30 year sales career with Qwest holding progressively senior sales positions. Currently Valerie oversees REDpoint’s sales and administration.

Ron Ames – Co Founder and Director - Ron Ames served as Director of Research & Development at inception of the Company as it was developing the Versatilt. Ron has worked as an Industrial Model Maker, Tool Designer, and Tool and Die Maker at Boeing, Tektronics, Western Electric, and Hewlett Packard. He also was an Industrial Engineer for five years at Boeing developing and creating management data. Prior to joining REDpoint he was with Hewlett Packard for 27 years where he was part of their printer development team. For the last 18 years he was an R&D Engineering Specialist. Ron previously was a board member of numerous non-profits, including Clark County’s emergency communications board.
Dr. David Winter - Dr. Winter is currently the president of Human BioSystems, in Palo Alto, California. As a physician/ neurophysiologist, Dr. Winter began his career in the division of neuropsychiatry at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and has served in many executive management and Board positions including CEO of Trimed Research, Inc., Medical Director of CTI (Clinical Trial and Consulting Services), President of GenPharm International, President of SangStat Medical Corporation, President and CEO of Human Organ Sciences, Inc., and VP Scientific and External Affairs for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corporation. He has also served as the Deputy Director of Life Sciences at NASA’s Ames Research Laboratory and the Director of Life Sciences at NASA Headquarters where he directed all the medical and biomedical engineering activity for the U.S. space program. Dr. Winter has been published in over 40 papers, periodicals, abstracts and books and is the recipient of many medical and scientific awards. Dr. Winter has taught at the Uniformed Services School of Medicine, Stanford University, Howard University and the University of Puerto Rico. He served on the White House taskforce for Rehabilitation Medicine and the White House taskforce for International Medicine.
Advisory BoardPam Lilly, RN, BS. – As the Clinical Director of Development, Pam spent 9 years working on evidence based medicine for the StatLock, the current market leader of stabilization devices. Her experience includes medical device regulatory compliance, marketing and sales. Pam is an expert at identifying qualified clinical trial sites, including accurate data collection for product development, industry launch and commercial strategy. Pam possesses exceptional business acumen in diverse and complex situations including quick resolution to client related situations. Pam authored the development of clinical protocols that is now the standard used in stabilization devices clinical trials.
